Job Summary:
Provides analysis and reporting that supports financial planning processes and enables decision making by the leadership teams.
Assists with the acquisition and integration process for the company’s Century Vision strategy.
Assists with financial planning and reporting, data administration and data management using analytical tools and ERP systems.
Assists with communicating recommendations derived from analysis with functional and senior leadership teams to drive change and shareholder value.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the company’s financial planning processes: monthly close, monthly/quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan, longer term strategic sufficiency evaluation.
Assists with financial and strategic analysis leading to improved decision making, including ad-hoc analysis requests, developing new approaches to analysis, and creation of new reports utilizing new mechanisms.
Assists with the consolidation of monthly and AOP sales/profit, balance sheet, and case flow forecasts received from Company divisions.
Participates in the acquisition and integration process and provides recommendations based upon data reconciliation and analysis.
Assists with generating and issuing recurring management reports and analytic dashboards.
Reports could be used in senior or executive management meetings and reviews.
Recommends and develops new reports as needed when new analysis is required.
Assists with data management / business intelligence - maintaining, updating, upgrading, or expanding the data tools used for analysis and projects.
If needed, identify new tools and work with team to incorporate them into the business.

La-Z-Boy is implementing its Century Vision strategy and this role helps in the execution of the enhance enterprise capabilities segment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Power Point, Excel, Word
Demonstrated capability in handling highly complex analytical problems with ability to drive to insights and answers under deadlines.
Possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
Up to 10% Travel Required.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with a data analytics tool and ERP Systems
Basic knowledge of management strategies, financial accounting, supply chain, and manufacturing
Project management skills to drive change across organization and accomplish stated goals.
