As titled, I have this “American Flyer Wood-and-Steel Runner Sled/Toboggan”.
I had to do a little research to learn exactly what it was and what it was worth.
It seems this was manufactured in the 1960s.
It was passed down from family, so while it means a little something to me, I have no real purpose to keep it.
It is not in perfect condition, but it is very good, and doesn’t show all that much sign of ware.
Asking $100.
It is my understanding these sorts of sleds regularly sell for $150, $200, or more….
but I don’t want to have to deal with eBay shipping or sitting on it for months/years more, and I’d be happy with a quick local sale, even though it would be clear to us both that I lost out on the potential difference (aka: "my loss is your gain").
