Outdoor Experts
Outdoor Experts for the SurvivorKids Camp will teach 60 minute sessions on topics such as: shelter building, archery, fishing, boating, wetlands, tracking, etc.
While not expected to know all of the information up front, you will be expected to learn the curriculum after training.
Outdoor Experts are expected to be enthusiastic about nature, informative, and patient with campers.
Experts will be responsible for leading up to 2 different sessions 3 times a day.
Outdoor Experts should expect to spend a majority of their time outdoors.
Job specifics:
General supervision of campers at times when your sessions are not scheduled
Assist in camper check-ins and check-outs
Participate in up to 5 training week days (the first being June 12th)
Work for 8 weeks (June 17-21, June 24-28, July 8-12, July 15-19, July 22-26, July 29- Aug.

5-9 and Aug.
12-16)
Report each day to Knabusch Math and Science Center at 8:15am and expect to leave at 3:45pm (30 min lunch on your own)
Preference will be given to outgoing and adventurous candidates who have outdoor experience or have attended class at KMSC.
Flexible scheduling available
A wage of $10.
33/hour is provided
* Based on enrollment, hours or weeks of camp may decrease.
