Production Welder

*Shift timings:* Monday-Thursday 7a-4:30p, Friday 7a-3:30p and optional Saturday’s 7a-11:30a.
*Position Summary:* Will be responsible for production line MIG welding.
Welders fabricate and assemble metal structures using weld machines, equipment, and measuring tools.
Will produce products according to customer or employer specifications.
Will set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment for optimal performance and safety.
Must maintain a good working relationship with fellow workers and customers.
Accountable to maintain a level of work performance in accordance with standards.
This position is responsible to have and maintain the ability to accomplish a task while holding the ability to notice inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility.
Will complete daily progress sheets to record accomplished work.
This role will maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Have the ability to accept constructive criticism and make subsequent adjustments, and willingness to rework incorrect tasks completed by oneself or others.
This position will follow and maintain knowledge of how quality impacts the success of the organization.
Follow all safety standards and comply with all security regulations.
Safely operate equipment at all times and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
*Education:* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
*Experience:* Entry to Mid-level = 1 - 3 years of welding experience Experience using hand and power tools, required.
Experience operating mobile equipment preferred.
*Certifications/Licenses:* Must be able to pass weld test.
Welding Certificate, a plus Licensed forklift truck operator Job Type: Contract Pay: $17.
